Background
Rebekah Hill is a 3rd year fashion student who required a contemporary brand identity accompanied by promotional material to distribute once graduating from university. The identity needed to reflect the aesthetic of her clothing range that of clean silhouettes, minimal colour palettes and subdued tones.

Identity
The wordmark logo is set in Gotham with extended tracking and a custom K letterform to create a subtle extracted brand mark. Its geoemetric aesthetic represents Rebekahs approach to fashion design and breaks up what would otherwise be a very minimal identity design.

Colour
The subdued and muted yellow palette was initially derived from Rebekahs collection a minimal and subtle use of colour with simple silhouettes. The colour is refined, contemporary and best reflective of Rebekahs practice.

Stationery / Exhibition
The identity was subsequently applied to a range of print and promotional material. To reference the tactile aesthetic of Rebekahs garments, I used a blind emboss within the business cards and swing tickets the cards and tickets were tri-plexed with muted yellow stock on the reverse and heavy white stock in the centre. This then translated into an exhibition space and a mailer. The yellow stock was used throughout all of the print collateral.

Lookbook publication
Rebekah decided to source 3 photographs for each of her collections / outfits therefore I decided to create a steel bound, interactive publication consisting of 9 concertina pull-outs, each of which feature a specific collection. These were seperated by half-pages specifying the clothes worn. The metal bind was in relation to the use of foiling within her garments and therefore emulates this aesthetic it also juxtaposes the soft, pale hues of the photography.
