General Notes: Unit controls fuel pump, AC compressor, secondary air injection, and has diagnostic memory.

The output for the O2 heater pulses on/off at about 1 hertz. The O2 heater does not always come on right away. MAS units that fail, ( eg: no AC output) may start working again if left unplugged for a while. Do not know why, possibly do to uncleared code? Pin # Designation Function 1. 30 Input: Power, constant hot (12 volts) 2. Output to fuel pump (12 volts) 3. Input for compressor enable from AC pushbutton unit (grounds circuit?) 4. 31 Ground 5. Input: A/C comp. rotation signal (paired with #6; AC signal; sine wave.) 6. Input: A/C comp. rotation signal (paired with #5; AC signal; sine wave.) 7. KD Output to kickdown circuit (12 volts) 8. 87V Output to CISE module (idle speed increase with AC on?) 9. 87Z Output to CISE when AC clutch engaged (part of idle speed increase circui t) 10. 15U Input: Power, from overvoltage protection relay (12 volts) 11. TNA Input (?) from tachometer 12. 50 Input: cranking signal from starter (12 volts) 13. NOT USED 14. Output to diagnostic terminal X11/4 15. NOT USED 16.
