The examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in the manner preseribed in Appendix Ito these rules. ‘The dates on which and the places at which the Preliminary and Main Examinations wll beheld shall be fixed by the Comnission, 2, A candidate shall be required to indicate in histher application form forthe Main Examinatioa histher order of references for various services/posts for whieh he’she {Would like to be considered for appointment in case he’sh is recommended for appointment by Union Public Service Commission ‘A candidate who wishes tobe considered for IASVIPS shall be required to indicate in his/her application form for the Main Examination his’ her order of preferences for various ‘State eaders for which he’she would like tobe considered for allotment in case hese is appointed to the TASIIPS. Note The candidate is advised to be very careful while indicating preferences for various services’pasts.
