Multiplication tricks- which I learnt

Multiplication with 11 ] 43 * 11 = 473 Shortcut. Write that 4 and 3 (4_3) in-between leave space. Add both 4+3 =7 So, add 7 between them now 473 If it is 3 digit number (go from right to left) 123 *11 Same thing write 1__3 Next step 3+2=5; Next step 2+1=3 So answer is 1353.

If it is 4 digit number 1234 * 11

Same thing write 1___4 Next step 4+3=7; 1__74 Next step 3+2=5; 1_574 Next step 2+1=3 ; 13574 So answer is 13574
