Fountaindale Reading Data Facts 2012-2013

School wide: 40% of students (1-5) are reading at or above grade level. School wide: 60% of students (1-5) are reading BELOW grade level. In grades 3-5, 65 students have less than 63% chance of passing MSA. In grade 1, 68% of students are reading BELOW grade level. In grade 2, 65% of students are reading BELOW grade level. In grade 3, 48% of students are reading BELOW grade level. In grade 4, 68% of students are reading BELOW grade level. In grade 5, 60% of students are reading BELOW grade level. Our projected proficiency is 75%... in order to make the AMO, we must make 90%. This is a gap of 27 students. In fall 2011,62% of students were reading BELOW grade level. In spring 2012, 57% of students were reading BELOW grade level. In fall 2012, 62% of students were reading BELOW grade level. By Spring 2013, we must have at least 50% students reading on or above grade level. (progress indicator for AMO) Fountaindales SPI rank is a 4. This is based on a scale of 1-5 (1: the best and 5: the worst) Out of 25 schools in the county, Fountaindale is ranked 23th based on the SPI.
