Course Overview MANA 3325 Entrepreneurship and Venture Management is an examination of the fundamentals of starting and managing a small business, the role of the entrepreneur, and of entrepreneurial characteristics. The course will include exposure to the opportunities and pitfalls of entrepreneurship as well as methods to take advantage of the former and avoid the latter. That each student be able to prepare and deliver a short 10 minute presentation or pitch. That each student be able to identify types of legal business entities, aspects of product ideas, aspects and types of target markets, and parts of a business plan. That each student be able to analyze, critique, and apply new venture and small business strategy and activities.
