Pre and Post Assessment

Circle the things that change when the seasons change.

Purpose: Assess knowledge about causes of seasons. Targeted behaviors: Connections and relationships and writing. Type of Assessment: Screening. Accommodations: Record description instead of writing. Draw a picture instead of writing. Give the student pictures and have them circle the items that affect the seasons.

Pre-Assessment #3:

Post Assessment:
Activity #1: Draw, color, and label, a poster with four sections

depicting what it looks like outside in each season. Include them in the picture doing something and/or an adult doing a job, and/or an animal doing something.

Purpose: To assess information learned and applied to their


perspective of their world.

Type of Assessment: Summative

Accommodations: Find pictures in magazines from each season. Set up the poster the students created in the pre-assessment and have them make changes, as needed.

Application as an administrator:
This took a lot of time, so I need to remember to

recognize it when I see it being done in the classroom.
