The selected candidate will also be interfacing with others across the Bank to develop and implement controls designed to comply with the Federal Reserve System's cost and financial accounting requirements. As a senior member of the analysis team, you will have the opportunity to lead various key projects, provide insightful and relevant analyses that will enable managers across the Bank to make timely, well-considered decisions about resource management. Your contributions to the Bank allow you a unique vantage point that provides: '* Insight and exposure to the major issues throughout the Bank; Broad exposure to the workings of the Bank’s various committees and workgroups; and ‘© Opportunity to present your work and provide thought leadership to various levels of the organization and the Federal Reserve System Job Responsibilities ‘+ Provide support in all aspects of corporate financial management planning and reporting including interfacing with areas such as, Markets, Investment Support Office and Credit Risk Management; ‘+ Provide innovative solutions to Management Information (Mil) business requirements and objectives including work associated with accounting activities (Year-end disclosures, audit, GAAP and IFRS interpretations); ‘© Recommend and implement solutions to improve cost controls and risk management, which reflect industry best practices; '* Provide consultative finance and Mi support to the respective functional groups throughout the Bank: + Provide leadership to various project initiatives (develop, design, and execute); ‘© Be part of a professional finance team that delivers critical Ml to executive level audiences: © Develop and lead the preparation of customized ad-hoc analyses to meet client needs; '* Author clear, concise, executive level analytics, which include all risks and opportunities to the financials: and * Actively contribute to the development and implementation of a formal Bank-wide competency model for finance professionals including systematic skills assessment, training and other career enhancement plans. Job Requirements '* MBA or Masters degree, preferably in accounting or finance; and CPA required: © 10-15 years of related work experience preferably in a financial services environment, including controllership experience in either a business/product or corporate office; Strong accounting and financial controls background: + Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, including the ability to be part of a team that produces the next generation of analytics; '* Prior work experience or expertise in most of the following areas: ‘© Balance Sheet and P/L analysis; © Credit risk analysis, valuation methodologies; and © Risk assessment reporting, Excellent communication skills including the ability to influence others without direct reporting lines: © Experience developing and leading complex multi-faceted projects in a matrix environment, © Proven thought leadership skills, including the ability to be innovative and be able to drive results both as an individual and team environment; ‘© Strong project management skills, including the ability to be an effective change agent, and challenge existing imbedded processes and apply technological solutions where appropriate: and © Proficiency in working with different systems to retrieve data via the utilization of various databases to praduce and analyze data
