MEMORANDUM CONGRATULATING MR JAN EMMANUEL CASINILLO, MS CAMILLE CAGATA AND MS TITEA SINOGAYA FOR WINNING THE 2013 CARP QUIX BOWL ----------------------------------------------------------------To: All Officers and Members of ECOSOC 17 June 2013 Good Day Fellow Members of ECOSOC! Last 06 June 2013, the Office of the University President received an invitation letter from the Department of Agrarian Reform inviting three (3) Economics Students for the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) Quiz Bowl to be held on 16 June 2013 at Centrio Activity Center. The Department of Economics then asked the Economics Society to recommend students who have already took Econ 20 and preferably Third Year Economics Students. Upon sober consideration of selected choices, we have recommended Mr Jan Emmanuel C Casinillo, Ms Camille Cagata and Ms Titea Sinogaya as the official representatives of the university to the contest. Their coach was Ms Editha Langreo. Last Sunday, they have won FIRST PRIZE among other universities who participated in the event coming from different provinces of the island. They have received Php 10,000.00 plus a plaque of recognition. We congratulate Jan, Camille, Titea and Maam Edith for this milestone. Their success is also our success. They have exemplified the true essence of Magis that despite time constraints they have never lost their enthusiasm and sense of perseverance to reach higher grounds.
