June 14, 2013 Saratoga Spring City Council Saratoga Springs City Hall 474 Broadway Saratoga Springs., New York 12866 Dear Saratoga Springs City Council, It has come to our attention that the Saratoga Springs City Council recently voted to install surveillance cameras around the Saratoga Springs downtown area. We are, of course, concerned about the placement, use and storage policy that the city will apply to their use. Please send us your written policies about purchase, placement and use as soon as they are developed. If you have any concerns about policy that would abide by constitutional standards, please dont hesitate to contact us as we would be happy to provide resources that would help the city ensure the safety of residents and visitors in Saratoga Springs without infringing on privacy concerns.
