Watershed, a New Series of Clem Bedwell Original Paintings Comes to The Umstead Art Gallery
Showcase to Debut June 8, Following Opening Reception June 6

WHAT:

Beginning June 8, The Umstead Hotel and Spas art gallery will host an impressive collection of Clem Bedwell paintings entitled Watershed. The show will feature original works by the Alabama artist through Sept. 30.
Prior to the opening of the show, a complimentary public reception will be held the evening of June 6 at The Umstead Hotel and Spa to introduce local patrons to the artist himself. Bedwells work pulls inspiration from the every day, but transforms the space to beyond the extraordinary by creating complex imaging subdued by simplistic elegance. His work is currently a part of The Umsteads permanent art collection, and pieces from the Watershed exhibit will be available for sale through The Umstead gift shop.
