- The week before Easter is called Holy Week and begins with Palm Sunday. - Godchildren give to their godparents blessed olive tree bouquets which symbolize life.
- On thursday it is celebrated Jesus Last Supper, which was the last meal Jesus shared with his Twelve Apostles / disciples before his death.
- The Easter Weekend begins with Good Friday - the most solemn day of the Christian Calendar. - Christians remember the crucifixion of Jesus.
