 The haunted house

Spooky house, dark grey stone,

Fraying carpets, mummies moan,
Ancient paintings, creepy tomb,
The gigantic towers seem to loom.
 
Cackling witches, screeching sounds,
Slithering snakes, howling hounds,
Crawling spiders, cobwebs many,
Ordinary people there isn’t any.

Creaking floorboards, flying bats,

Crawling spiders, scuttling rats,
Flashing lightning, night or day,
The skeletons get you anyway.
