Philippine Physics Game

Title: SAMBUNOT Mechanics of the Game (Traditional) Number of Players: 10 Where to play: outdoors Sambunot is a Philippine game which may be played outdoors by ten or more players, but not to exceed twenty. The goal in the game is to get the coconut husk out of the circle. A circle is drawn on the floor, big enough to accommodate the number of players. A coconut husk is placed at the center of the circle. The players position themselves inside the circle. At the signal GO, players will rush to the center to get the coconut husk. Players may steal the coconut husk from another player in an attempt to be the one to take the husk put of the circle. A player who is successful in getting out of the circle with the coconut husk wins, and the game starts again.
MODIFICATIONS/TWISTS:

Number of Players: 10 players (2 lab sections) and 2 it (taya- coming from the host lab section) Where to play: outdoors A small circle enclosed in a bigger circle will serve as the playing area. A ball may serve as the coconut husk and will be placed inside the smaller circle. The players will position themselves outside the bigger circler while the it (taya) will position himself inside the bigger circle. At the signal GO, players will rush to the center to get the ball. Players may steal the ball from another player in an attempt to be the one to take the ball out of the smaller circle. The player with the ball will then get inside the bigger circle where it inside will try to prevent the player from going out the bigger circle. Other players inside the smaller circle can still steal the ball from the player inside the bigger circle. The player with the ball who will successfully get out the circle wins the game. The game will last for a maximum time of 3mins. the scoring for the game will depend on the time the game will last. 3mins= 10pts 2mins= 20pts. 1min=30 pts.
