Batch flow processes is a type of process which manufacturing of products are being produced in a large amount of quantity at one

time. In batch flow processes, batch manufacturing facility makes intermediate variety of products and intermediate volume of products. Batch flow processes created products stage by stage over a series of workstations. However, the advantage of batch flow processes is it can reduce the capital of business like the cost of setting up the machines because a single production line can be used to produce several products. For instance, bakeries that produce cookies is a type of batch flow processes as few different types of cookies can be produced in a large amount of quantity at one time. Line flow processes is the branch of manufacturing which is associated with formulas and manufacturing recipes, it produces products that involved physical or chemical reaction. Line flow processes can be contrasted with discrete manufacturing, which is concerned with bills of material and routing. Line flow processes is to be said that once an output is produced by this process, it cannot be distilled back to its basic components. In other words, there's no turning back once an output is started to produce. For instance, petroleum refineries is categorised under line flow processes.
