Brief Description: A shrub that reaches from 2 to 4 meters tall, this species is common throughout the Sahara from southern Morocco to the Tibesti region of Chad. It is generally found along wadis and soils rich in salt. It has a variety of medicinal uses, is forage for camels, sheep and goats (as seen above) and its flowers are called kour [ ]in Hassaniyya.
