The documents will give you a better idea of the different people and perspectives of people around and in the Pacific Theater. There are many different resources that will help you to gain a first person perspective of how life was in America during the war. Japanese Americans Use these sources to answer the questions below. If so, How? Women At Work These documents give perspective of what life was like for women before and during the war. African American Work Force Before the civil rights movement there were still many who saw African americans in a negative light. Comment on how three pictures above are signs of change since the end of the civil war. Include the number of the picture, a short description, and how it was an example of change in society. African American Soldiers Tuskegee Airmen Use these sources to answer the questions below.

How did these changes help? Could more be done? How? Find your own sources and link them in your answer document. Look up sources in Google to find useful information and pictures for your project. Use Key Words to increase the chances of a successful search. Example of Key Words are: Japanese American Internment Tuskegee Airmen African American Workers Women Workers Adding WWII or WW2 to the end of these searches will increase your chances of a good search After finding a resource that is not one of the ones listed above, write a paragraph telling me why its a good resource! Some tips for searching: Avoid .com sites, they are generally commercial in nature and will sensationalize facts to increase web traffic. Refine your search terms and try again Use information gathered from the documents to come up with a specialized search for something specific.
