TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN: Ive had the pleasure of knowing Hari Kumar Pillai as a person working in the sound part of the audio-visual media- movies, television, etc. Over the years I have come to respect his knowledge of the technology and craft of filmmaking and have seen him ably translate that knowledge into sound tracks of his various projects. Now I understand he is actively involved in teaching younger professionals in his line of work through workshops at various institutions. I sincerely hope more people can make use of this talent of Hari Pillai by inviting him to hold workshops at their institutions. Later this year, Hari Pillai and I hope to work together on a long length narrative project and set new standards for African cinema. I wish Hari all the best in his various ventures and have no hesitation in recommending him on any job involving audio work.
