Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived
thereby is not wise.

Proverbs 21:17 He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil
shall not be rich.

Avoid casually hanging around with other alcoholics.
Avoid the places where the temptation for alcohol is strong.
Replace the desire for alcohol through focusing on Christ through prayer, fasting, Bible
reading, fellowship with other Christians. Fill your life with Christ-centered activities.
When feeling helpless, do not hesitate to call a Christian friend, mentor or leader who can
help and encourage you to overcome the temptation.
Through the power of God you can walk free from the addiction to alcohol.
