Driving Question: How is what you learn in school relevant to understanding the game of baseball?

Overview of PBL timeline, organization, objectives, and format.

Students identify a content area of interest and are placed into groups of four with each group consisting of a Literature, two Math, and a History representative.

Students begin to wireframe their website.

History How does the history of baseball impact the way we view it in American culture?

Students explore the history of baseball. Students explore statistics as they relate to baseball.

Students return to their base groups to explain what they have learned to their group members and work on creating their website.

Final Product Students will develop a website showcasing their learning and demonstrating the real-world connections that exist between the curriculum in their core classes and the sport of Baseball.
