I understand that situations arise in life but it is important to be in class. Participation/Homework This class is a safe way to practice your knowledge and skills in English. I will occasionally assign homework in relation to the topics being discussed. Homework may include reading an article, observing an event, writing a reaction to a case study, conducing an interview, watching television, searching online, going to the mall etc. I will give feedback and corrections to help you learn, however you will receive full credit just for completing the assignment. Group Project: The group project is going to be to research and present a company prole of a business you enjoy or a business you would like to work for. The purpose of this group project is to help you learn how to research elements of a company to prepare you an interview and to see if it would be a good t for you. This company prole is composed of two parts. I will provide an outline for each of these once we get closer to assigning groups to make it easy to gather the information needed.
