THE TRUE CHURCH

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. -Ephesians 1:22-23 Who is He that filleth all in all? Only God, to be sure; God in Christ by the Holy Spirit. For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect. -Hebrews 12:18,22,23 The translation of the word generation is universe. Ye are come to the universal Church. The original and true Catholic Church; for Catholic, Universal and General, all mean the same thing. The scriptures in Hebrews, then tells of assembly and Church of the universe, which is the very thought and expression of the Church as spoken in Ephesians and Colossians. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named Ephesians 3:8-15. All in heaven and earth, who are partakers of Gods promise and purpose in Christ, compose just one family- the whole family in heaven and earth. Not all at his wondrous family are at home; but all are members of the family. And the day is appointed, and all will soon be arranged, the grand re-union. The great word will go out with a mighty shout of the voice of the Archangel and great sound of the trumpet of God. The true church is composed of all the believers in Christ Jesus. This does the work of Jesus upon the earth. Its members are a little flock, and few in number, compared to the children of the world. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32 This is the church which shall be glorious at the end. When allegory is passed away then shall this church be presented without spot before the fathers throne. But the church of the first-born shall shine as the stars at the last, and be presented with joy before the fathers throne. God will complete His work with the church and it will be happy to live together with our Lord Jesus Christ.
