Artifact Description This work sample was created to show my expectations with the most common activities in my classroom. It covers expectations from individual work time to whole class discussion time, and also student responsibilities and infractions. Relationship to NBPTS Standards
This artifact demonstrates knowledge of three Middle Childhood/Generalist Standard(s). I. Understanding Students Management plan is set based on how students learn. II. Background of Artifact
It is important to have a classroom management in place when the school year starts. Rather than think that I know what will happen, I decided to record expectations for certain situations. This is helpful for me to process exactly what my classroom will look like, and allow kids to know what should occur. It is also available for administration and parents that request it. This is beneficial for a efficient classroom.

Reflection on Learning Demonstrated in this Work Sample


From completing this assignment I have developed a better understanding of my ideal classroom and how I want my classroom to run. This artifact will affect my classroom by me already knowing what my expectations are and making them clear for my students. I have benefited from this artifact by having clear expectations and directives for my students, there will not be confusion from unclear expectations.
