Artifact Description
This work sample attached is a transcript of all the in-district trainings I attended to become a more versed and effective teacher. I have attended these professional development trainings while in graduate school.

This artifact demonstrates knowledge of these Middle Childhood/Generalist Standard(s). III. Understanding Science Teaching In the transcript, it is evident that I took many courses to improve my ability to teach science XI. Developing Collegiality and Leadership I attended many developments to become a campus leader

Background of Artifact
Professional development is a huge part of my life. Not because it is a requirement, but because I want to be the best teacher I can be for my students. I like to stay on top of the new trends in the classroom and learn new strategies that will benefit my students. Professional development activities that I have attended include: Kagan structures, love and logic, Google trainings, inquiry institute, learning PLCs and strategic design planning.

Reflection on Learning Demonstrated in this Work Sample


From completing the courses listed in the transcript, I have grown as a research, a learner and as a teacher. I have learned so much from these developments that will benefit my classroom and students. One of the most important trainings that I attended was the inquiry institute. It demonstrated the proper way to tech science while integrating inquiry. I have benefited from this artifact by growing as a learner and teacher, I take most of the professional development opportunities presented to grow as a successful and effective teacher.
