The kit of discord

Although I always be evangelical, I never had prejudice about sexual option. Every person has the right of chose his way and the mode how live his life. At last month I was surprised to know about the Kit against homophobia that will be distributed for the brazilian teenagers on the public Schools. The Kit Gay, as are named, is a collection of five videos and primers about homophobia. The videos and primers show ficticional stories about teenagers that surfer prejudice because they sexual option. According to The minister of education, Fernando Haddad, probably the material will be distributed for teenagers between 14 and 18 years old students of Brazilians public schools on the second semestry of 2011. The distribution of the material created a big discussion about homophobia, religious extremism and liberty of expression. Some activists of The Gay movement defend that the videos are important to avoid the sexual discrimination, on the other hand Religious says that the kit will encourage the homossexualism between children and teenagers. Despite the discussion, however ,the minister says that the kit will be distribuited for schools without modifications. I saw 3 of 5 videos and one thing I know: this project will cause more prejudice. The stories don't shows the real life, shows fictions that no teach that the life of persons is a thing personal and that mustn't be motive of discriminations or violence. Our Civil code says in 21th article that the private life of every person is inviolable, therefore, being the sexual option one thing personal, must be discussed inside the family ambient. The schools obligation is transmit knowledge and improve the moral values that have to be teached by parents.
