Boston, MA 02215 Re: Please review and reply to internship changes Dear Edward: I would first like to once again congratulate you on being accepted into Skye International Bank (SIB) internship program! As you know, SIBs internship position is extremely competitive and only accepts the top candidates. This year, you have been selected as one of 20 students into our summer internship. SIB decision to keep internship program Despite the fall of our competitor companies, SIB Executive Vice President Atul Kanagat has decided that this program is key to finding promising future employees. Because of his faith and value in the quality of interns work, SIB is able to maintain our internship program after 30 years. Changes to the internship program In order to accommodate for industry fluctuations and keep this internship program running, SIB has decided to make certain changes to the program. These include: Salary cut to $3,840 a month Paid only for 6 weeks in U.S. locations (may stay in U.S. for all 12 weeks) Unpaid for international locations (will cover transportation, housing, and meal expenses) SIB will support you into the future Despite these changes, you will ultimately receive the same excellent work experience from this program that will benefit your future. Before the summer ends, you will have completed two project deliverables and will be able to receive highly credible recommendations from coworkers. In addition, this internship often leads to job offers upon graduation here at SIB. Action Request: Please reply and inform me of your decision We would be delighted for you to continue and partake in SIBs internship program. Please reply and let me know if you would like to accept our new offer and work in both of your cities or only in Miami. Thank you,

Sophie McMillan (Dorie Chang) Human Resources Senior Vice President
