Associate International Strategic Communications The Harbour Group (THG) is looking for a smart, hard-working and creative professional

l with knowledge of international relations and experience implementing public affairs programs that integrate tactics such media relations, stakeholder engagement, digital communications and paid media. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience working with international businesses or governments, as well as proven writing and project management skills. THGs Associates are key members of client teams, and work closely with senior firm staff to implement programs for clients. Position responsibilities include: Writing and overseeing the distribution of various materials, such as client proposals and planning memos, meeting briefing/background documents, media materials, and website or newsletter content. Organizing and managing logistics around client events. Researching issues and working with team members to develop recommendations for clients. Providing media relations support for clients, including developing and managing relationships with key reporters, utilizing digital media and other tactics to pitch stories, and serving as a spokesperson if required.

Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), have strong organizational skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. An advanced degree in communications, journalism or international affairs is preferred. Foreign language skills are a plus, with a focus on Arabic or Mandarin Chinese.
