Reading comprehension is defined as the level of understanding of a writing. Recognition of words, their meaning and understanding them. Answering questions or giving responses to relevant questionnaire.

Techniques for improving RC

1. SQ3R-survey, question, read, recite and review.

2. Determine Importance - focusing on key words (vocabulary) 3. Reading strategies-summarizing, making key notes, reading aloud.

4. Pace - speed at which one reads the passage/text (critical when attempting aptitude papers)
5.Vizualization the mental images of the pictures brings life to words. 6. Connect - with what your are reading.
