Assignment Nº 3

The OFT that we chose was in relation to the person and their environment.
In the way to strength the socialization process, the students should appreciate the
social, emotional and spiritual importance of the family and the institution of
marriage.

In the context that the course is a first grade in a Catholic School, the activity
should be very simple but effective. This activity will be a collaborative work
between the students and their relatives to potency the family union.
This activity has to be making in two parts and should be done in just one
period. In the first one has to be done in their houses, the students would have to
look up with their parents the translations of their family members as mother,
father, etc. after that they should look for some photos of them and make a
presentation with this information. The second part has to be done in the
classroom, the student will have to say just the name of their relatives in English
and after that they should have to express the importance of them in her/his life. All
of that should be in Spanish. Showing photos and talking about their love ones not
only will improve their self-confidence but also they will appreciate the importance
of family.
This activity will be significant because family has a big importance in the
kid’s life and with this they will share quality time with their families and at the same
time they will learn the importance of them.
