Aim of this activity: The aim of this activity is for you to have an interview with a teacher handling your area of concentration/major. In the interview, you will ask about his/her experience of utilizing instructional materials in the learning tasks. After the interview, you will answer accomplish the task found in Part 2 of this sheet.
Instructions: 1) Look for a teacher who is currently teaching your major/area of concentration. (Ex. A SPED teacher, pre-school teacher, high school Mathematics teacher, and the like) 2) When s/he agrees to have this interview with you, please indicate the needed information in the template below.

What instructional materials are not currently used by the teacher but are being explored and are expected to be of great help in the teaching and learning of the subject? -the use of computers and the panaboard. This will give clear idea for the pupils to learn the lessons. But it needs time for the teacher to learn the use of it. Another problem is the number of pupils will affect the use of the computer room.

Part 2 . Using MS Word, make a creative interpretation of the things you have learned from this interview.

This interviews I conducted give me an idea on what instructional materials I will be going to use in the future. It gives me idea on its advantages and disadvantages. I also learned the expectations of the students inside the class that they really want that their interest will be tackled in class. It is also very important to use technology in the teaching and learning process especially that we are in the 21 st century and all most of the students are technology savvy. Teachers must know each of their pupils/students so that they will know where to target them or what strategies they will use as they teach. I learned that instructional materials play a big role in the teaching and learning process. This will serve as the visual representation of what the teacher teaches and what the students or the learners are learning. I also learned that it is really important to consider first the child. Especially that they are the one who is learning. As future educator, I really need to know what are their needs, strengths and weaknesses, personality, learning style and their hidden talents and skills so that I will not have a hard time discussing the lessons I prepared.
