Like a typical college class, Ms. Maita discusses the lessons and gives assessment, evaluation and application through quizzes afterwards. Ms. Maita also implements interactive learning. 3. Make inquiries if the teacher uses instructional materials and how the students find these instructional materials in facilitating their learning of the subject. a. Does teacher A use instructional materials (flip charts, flash cards, diagrams, realia, etc) in teaching? At times, their teacher uses powerpoint presentations which is for Marvelo, another form of instructional material. b. Are these materials helpful? Why? Yes, they are. For the reason that it entertains and accommodates visual and auditory learners. A student will never get bored in class especially when there are pictures inserted in the powepoint slides. 4. Find out if there are classes in their school that do not use instructional materials. How do they find these classes (as in engaging, interesting, etc)? a. Are there subjects that do not use instructional materials? Yes. There are. Like minor subjects. But these classes, for me, dont need the use of other forms of instructional materials. b. How do you find these classes? Boring since the teacher does all the talking for one hour and thirty minutes. They dont even apply interactive learning. c. What materials can the teacher explore and use in order to improve the learning process? (for College students only I recommend interactive learning and collaboration. With these strategies, the students will be more acquainted with each other which is an advantage for college students who are mostly having the picking schedule. Interactive learning will also allow the students to express their ideas which will be open for correction or supplementation of information. Application of what weve learned is also very important labi na sa amo mga Psych, dli ra puro classroom discussions pero dapat pod i-expose mi sa unsa among buhaton in connection with our subjects. 5. Finally, ask if they see if instructional materials are important for learning and studying. a. Are instructional materials important for studying? for learning? Yes. Dako sya ug matabang.

b. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using such materials in learning? There are other students, especially during reporting, naai uban nga wala kabalo unsa ilang gui pang yawyaw. Lack of information is what Marvelo is talking about. II. MAKING CONNECTIONS Go to www.edutopia.org. Explore the website and look for an article that you find is related to your learning in this episode. With your interview, the article, and as a student yourself; make a free verse poem with this idea: THE FILIPINO YOUTH, EDUCATION, AND THE 21ST CENTURY CLASSROOM Student engagement is an important factor For students learning and mastery circulator Collaboration is the key For us to be successful as an attorney As educators, we are in charge of our youth Using the strategies for developing 21st century skill Will never kill Instead it will let us spell successful with our mouth.
