Part 3. On Your Insights and Realizations

Which of the centers have caught your attention most? Why? Their library, I was so sad about it because instead of it as a library, they used it as a temporary classroom because they lack classrooms due to the fire accident that happened last year. But teachers said that it has nothing to worry about because the government is now acting and their school is now under renovation and theyre looking forward for a modernized and much nicer school.

Which of the instructional materials caught your attention most? Why? The use of manila paper, it caught up my attention because as I have observer it is the most common instructional material that teachers there have been using. Specially for the veterans one, they never get tired of writing their activities in a manila paper which I find very costly because you need a paper and a marker which is for me very expensive on my part, specially if youre writing so many things, one marker would not be enough.

Which instructional materials/gadgets are you confident to use/operate? Computers and projectors, I feel confident in using them because ever since gradeschool I was exposed to these kinds of instructional materials, most of my teachers are using such kinds of materials and I it saves much time compare to making instructional materials through manila paper, playing videos through television or many more. With this, you can just flash it inside your classroom, without anymore transferring to other places.

Which instructional materials/gadgets do you feel the need to learn more about? As part of the new generation, I feel like I know how to use most of the modern materials and gadgets used as instructional materials, but I am very willing to learn more about computers because I know that nowadays, technology is very busy innovating for a much better product.

More insights and realizations for this episode In this episode, I realized that instructional materials plays a very important role in education. Without these things, it would be so hard not just on the teachers part but also on the part of the students in understanding the discussion and the lessons because I do believe that we humans really learned through experience. We learn much clearly when things are visible, it is very easy for us to understand when we can see it through our naked eyes. And as teachers, it would be so hard explaining things your students cant even imagine, these instructional materials is really very helpful in learning.
