Specific topics discussed include: the heart of education being the learner/student, the loss of individual creativity in current classrooms/curriculum across the country, ways to foster creativity and teach to varied learning styles. (March 2013) Participated in PLC at Kent Intermediate School District with Kelly Gallegher as the featured presenter. (5-13-13) Focus of the presentation was providing mentored writing practice for students to develop as successful writers across the curriculum and into the workplace or college environment.
