Before you start developing your storyboard, make sure you look at the learning goals for this lesson in the teacher guide slide (slide 17)

Guidelines for the storyboard development

For science it is important you develop exercises as realistic as possible. Please make use of as many photos as possible instead of animations. You can add photos to your storyboard you find via Google (or a similar search engine). Our programming team uses an online photo database to build the lesson. They will look for a photo, similar to the one you used in the storyboard, that isnt protected by copyright. In the storyboard template you find a lot of text between []. This text explains what kind of information needs to be added to that specific part of the template. Make sure you use the advantages which interactive learning brings. Dont use too much text. Children like to play games and being active.

Introduction exercises design

[please add graphics to field below that illustrate the design of the introduction]

An outdoor swimming pool with trainning facilities including a net in the middle of the pool, balls hanging above, floating beach balls. A group of dolphins are jumping out of the water to touch the balls hanging above. A girl named Regina is in the training costume with a hula hoop, a bucket with small fish and a whistle on her neck.

Introduction exercises - text

Main Character of this lesson Text Main Character [Regina, a blony white girl in a dolphin trainning costume. ]

[Hello, my name is Regina. I take care of dolphins in a summer capm at this dolphin school. Did you see a boy moving fast on the water? Isnt it interesting? Actually two dolphins under the water were pushing him to move. If the dolphins push more strongly, the boy can move faster. So you know, the dolphins are very clever. They can learn how to use the force to get things move, speed up, slow down or even stop. The doplhins are also trained to jump out of the water as high as they could, so the audience can see them clearly. However, this is not easy, because they cannot continue to jump higher but fall back into the water. When I dont need to train the dolphins, I will help prepare the foods, clean the kitchen and feed them. I sometimes feel tired, but I am happy with what I have done for the dolphins. All right, its time to train the dolphins using their forces to do the performance.]

[Regina, remember to focus on push and pull, because they are what force is about.Itd better for you to practice push and pull first, then train the dolphins]

Regina will use different strength of the force to move a beach ball: no force, slight push, and strong push. Which strength of the force moves the beach the furthest? Click one strength of the force. Corrrect answer selected: strong push. Demonstrate the ball at the furthest spot. First, the beach ball cannot move without force. Second, a strong push means a larger amount of force, so a beach ball can move further with strong push than the one being pushed slightly. Firgure 1 shows that the dolphins fall in the sea Firgure 2 shows that the dolphins jump out of the sea. The direction of gravity is pointing to the earth. Hence, the direction of dolphins falling in the sea is as the same as gravitys; while jumping out of the sea is against the gravitys. Firgure 3 shows a girl jumps as high as she can Firgure 4 shows a girl is diving into the water. The direction of gravity is pointing to the earth. Firgure 5 shows that an airplane is taking off Firgure 6 shows that an airplane is landing on the airport The direction of gravity is pointing to the earth. Hence, the airplanes movement of flying to the sky is against the pull of gravity. The airplanes movement of landing applies gravity.
