Skin Cell Pharynx Respiratory System Large Intestine

The main function of the pharynx is it is a passageway of both air and food. The pharynx also receives the food in the digestive system after being swallowed and pushes it to the oesophagus. This part of the body also aids in equalisation of the air pressure in the middle ear and in the production of sound through the vocal cords.

Skin is the soft outer covering of vertebrates. The cell is the basic structural, functional and biological unit of all known living organisms. Cells are the smallest unit of life that is classified as a living thing, and are often called the "building blocks of life". The respiratory system (or ventilatory system) is the biological system that introduces respiratory gases to the interior and performs gas exchange. In humans and other mammals, the anatomical features of the respiratory system include airways, lungs, and the respiratory muscles.Molecules of oxygen and carbon dioxide are passively exchanged, by diffusion, between the gaseous external environment and the blood. This exchange process occurs in the alveolar region of the lungs.[ The large intestine (or bowel, colon) is the last part of the digestive system in vertebrate animals. Its function is to absorb water from the remaining indigestible food matter, and then to pass useless waste material from the body
