Esta semana estaremos leyendo la historia “One Good Pup” del reading
book. Debo repasar la lectura mecánica de la historia ya que en clase me
pedirán leer una página y seré evaluado. Aprenderé palabras nuevas de
vocabulario, las cuales tendré que pronunciar correctamente, conocer su
significado y ortografía. Tendré Reading Quiz y Spelling Quiz de estas
palabras el viernes.

En Grammar aprenderemos que: a verb shows action. Debo aprender y

nombrar 20 verbos:clap,climb, cut, dance, draw, drink, erase, jump, kick,
march, play, pull, read, run, sing, sleep, slide, swim, walk, write.
Tendré que formar oraciones con las siguientes estructuras:

· I am (verb+ing). Ex. I am running.

· You are (verb+ing). Ex. You are reading.
· We are (verb+ing). Ex. We are drawing.
· He is (verb+ing). Ex. He is climbing.
· She is (verb+ing). Ex. She is drinking.
· It is (verb+ing). Ex. It is sleeping.

En Math seguiré repasando los números del 0 al 100, pero también

aprenderé a contar de 10 en 10 y de 5 en 5 hasta el 100. Debo ser muy
cuidadoso al pronunciar los números:

§ Ten(10), twenty(20), thirty(30), forty(40), fifty(50), sixty(60), seventy(70),

eighty(80), ninety(90), one­hundred(100). Enfatizar la terminación ty.
§ 5, 10, 15 (fifteen), 20, 25, 30 (thirty), 35, 40(forty), 45, 50(fifty), 55, 60
(sixty), 65, 70 (seventy), 75, 80 (eighty), 85, 90 (ninety), 95, 100.

Esta semana estaré aprendiendo 1 palabra nueva: have (se pronuncia

jav y significa tengo/tienes/tenemos), Para estudiarla, no debo descifrar
el fonema de cada letra, sino que debo asociar la palabra entera a su
pronunciación. Otras palabras especiales que debo repasar son: the,
that, I, said, we, are, you. Para el Spelling Quiz (dictado) y Reading Quiz
(lectura) del viernes, siempre debo estudiar:
bag, bat, cap, car, cat, fan, ham, hat, jar, mad, man,
map, mat, pan, sad, van, bed, hen, leg, men, net, pen,
ten, web, bib, fin, lid, pig, pin, sit, six, wig, box, boy, dog,
dot, fox, mop, pot, top, bug, cup, hug, jug, nut, run, sun,

have.
En Grammar seguiré trabajando con Adjectives. Adjectives tell about
color, size and number. Esta semana tendremos evaluación de
adjectives. Tendré que leer correctamente oraciones que contienen
diferentes adjetivos: color, size and number. Formaré oraciones con las
siguientes estructuras:

*It is a (adjective) (noun). *Example: It is a pink book.

*I see (number) (noun + s). *Example: I see three books.
*I have (number) (color) (noun + s). *Example: I have two red books.
*I have (number) (size) (noun + s). *Example: I have four big books.

En Math seguiré repasando los números del 0 al 100, debo identificar,

contar, escribir, representar, ordenar y saber el número que está antes y
después. Debo ser muy cuidadoso al pronunciar los números:

§ Acentuar la pronunciación inicial de los números 13 al 16 para evitar

confusión a la hora de contar.
§ Enfatizar la terminación teen y ty, especialmente en los números
thirteen(13) y thirty(30), fourteen(14) y forty(40), fifteen(15) y fifty(50),
sixteen(16) y sixty(60), seventeen(17) y seventy(70), eighteen(18) y
eighty(80), nineteen(19) y ninety(90) para no confundirlos.
