Longmeadow Cuff

A simple broomstick lace bracelet to practice your basics!

Materials: 1 skein Valley Yarns Longmeadow in color #12, Seafoam US G/6/4.00mm crochet hook US size 19/35mm needles (you only need one) 4, inch buttons stitch markers tapestry needle sharp scissors

Begin - Chain 17, 1sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, and in ea ch across.(16sc) Row 1 - Ch1 turn, 1sc in ea st across (16sc) Repeat Row 1 two more times Begin Broomstick Lace Broomstick Row 1 - Without turning the work over, enlarge the loop on your hook. With the needle in your left hand place the loop on the needle. Skip the last sc, *insert your hook into the previous sc and bring up a large loop, place loop on the needle. Repeat from * across, ending with 16 loops. Broomstick Row 2 - Bring working yarn up to the top of the needle, insert hook into the first 4 loops on the needle, yo, and bring a loop through the 4 large loops and drop them off the needle. Ch3, 3dc into the 4loop twist. *Yo, insert hook into next 4 loops on the needle, yo, bring up a loop and drop the 4 large loops off the needle, yo, pull through 2 loops (twice), 3dc into same 4loop twist. Repeat from * Twice more. Repeat Broomstick Row 1 and 2 four more times (5 Broomstick lace bands) Repeat Row 1 twice more Row 2 - Ch1 turn, 1sc in ea of next 3 sts, *ch 1, sk 1, 1sc in ea of next 2 sts. Repeat from *twice times more, sc in last 3 st. Repeat Row 1 once more. Fasten off and weave in ends. Mark button holes on solid end of cuff and attach buttons.
