Global warning Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans.

It started since the late 19th century and its projected to continue. Global Warming occurs as a result of increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Greenhouse gases are produced by human activities like the buning of fossil fuels, deforestation and the use pesticides. Trought these activities thereby releasing millions of tones of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere STATISTICS since the early 20th century, Earth's mean surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 C (1.4 F), with about two-thirds of the increase occurring since 1980. The concentrations of CO2 and methane have increased by 36% and 148% respectively since 1750.[57] These levels are much higher than at any time during the last 800,000 years

An international team of researchers under the umbrella of the Global Carbon Project reports that over the last 50 years the average fraction of global CO2 emissions that remained in the atmosphere each year was around 43 per cent -- the rest was absorbed by the Earth's carbon sinks on land and in the oceans ECOLOGICAL IMPACT Some of the most notorius effects of global warming are: Temperature changes Glacier retreat and disappearance Rise of the wather level Direct effect over ecological enviroment

These events must be take very seriously because they affect the human enviroment, animal enviroment, economy, food suplies and wather availabilty. SOLUTION It does not exist a direct solution for the global warming, however it does exist activities that aim to reduce the Co2 emissions, for example using less fossil fuels by using a public trasportation instead of driving a car, or disconnecting all the electronic devices of the house or office. If we as humans make conscience about our future and enviroment, because the earth is the place we live, we could make possible big changes for a better future to us.
