I have been on an intentional path of sobriety for 11 years now and my physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well being has changed dramatically because of my ongoing Hatha Yoga practice. Throughout this shared journey of unifying recovery with yoga, we will share our experiences, strength, and hope both on the mat and in our lives. On the mat, we will discover basic body principles that enhance well being and spiritual growth. In our lives, yoga principles can assist us to make healthy choices in regards to relationships, career paths, emotional stability, environmental ethics, and family dynamics. Through weekly themes, reflective journaling, intentional yoga poses, and mindful meditations, we will have opportunities to laugh, cry, and learn to be a healthy and loving part of the human family. This gentle and restorative practice is inviting for both beginner and experienced yogis alike.
