Charge Up Yourself

2Ti 1:6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands

WORD by Mukisa Emma

1Co 14:4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. The word edify is from a Greek word oikodomeo which means to construct or build up, to embolden or charge up like you would charge a battery. This means that when you speak in other tongues, you charge up yourself, you embolden, build up yourself like an edifice. You are the temples of God where the Holy Spirit dwells (1Cor 3:16). It is the Holy Spirit who is now in you that is the source of the power (Rom 8:11). Meaning you have the power house in you. Glory to God! But however much you might have the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwelling in you, you can fail, die of sickness and disease with that same miracle working power in you! It is like a generator. It has enough power to light up the whole building but when not triggered up, it cant release the power. What do you have to do with that power in you?! Dont think it will be God to do something about it. For this reason He made you a participator in the divine nature. You have a part to play in the divine nature! Our opening scripture shows us what to do with it! He says; Stir up the gift of God-the Holy Spirit-who is in you! How do you do it? He who speaks in other tongues charges up himself. If you need change in any way, the power is in you to cause the desired change. All that you need to do is to stir it up and then release it. Choose to always stir up the power of the Holy Spirit-dynamic ability to cause change-in you before you even get out of your room every morning!

CONFESSION
I have the power house in me. I have the very power that raised Jesus from the dead in my life. I can effect changes in the Name of the Lord Jesus! I choose to do something with that power of the Holy Spirit in my life by stiring it up and then using it to impact my world for the glory of God in Jesus might Name!
