Project Background
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law by the US congress in 1990. The ADA sets standards for construction of accessible public entities. As ADA standards are reevaluated and updated over time, the goal of this project is to inventory Lansdale Boroughs current curb ramps. Curb ramp evaluation and analysis were performed to determine the suitability of Lansdale Boroughs curb ramps relevant to ADA standards. All curb ramps in the borough were documented, photographed, given a letter grade, and spatially located. Field evaluation of curb ramps was completed between July and August of 2013.

*Slope and Gradient of curb ramps were not accounted for during this evaluation.
