POEM RECITATION RULES AND REGULATIONS.

1. Each contestant will read one (1) poem from the list of poems being taught in Form 1 Form 5. 2. Each contestant will be given a maximum of 6 minutes to recite the poem. 3. Contestants must be at the venue at least 15 minutes before the competition starts. 4. Contestants will be judged based on their Physical presence, Voice and articulation, Appropriateness of Dramatization, Level of Difficulty, Evidence of Understanding, and Overall Performance. 5. Contestants are allowed to read from the text of the poem but bonus marks will be given to those that can memorize the poem. 6. Judges marks will be final. 7. The competition details will be as follows: a. Date: 22 February 2012 (Wednesday) b. Time: 9.00am (Form 1 & 2), 1.30pm (Form 3 5) c. Venue: APD Room, 8. Prizes will be awarded to the winners with the highest score.
