    1 on Windows 7 and Windows 8 -Uninstall current version of Java (likely java 7) Start control panel Uninstall a program look for Java - Install Java 6 update 35 Download at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk6u35downloads-1836443.html --> select accept liscense agreement select operational system Download and install file. -Install Scale Insert CD 1 from scale package open cd files and run scale6.1.11.06.24.12_no_source.jar Create a folder on C drive called Scale6 (or just Scale if Scale6 does not work) run installation and add cd 2 and 3 when required. -Update Scale Rename Scale6 folder to Scale6.1 Insert CD4 open C785mnycp01-d4_6.1.2PATCH folder and double click on scale_6_1_2_exe. -Updating Java Once Scale is updated, you may want java 7 to be installed in your machine for security purposes. You can download java from the link below: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
