and He made !om one man every nation of mankind to live on a" the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and nd Him, though He is not far !om each one of us Acts 17:26,27 Its incredibly humbling to think that God has specically placed us and those around us exactly where we are at in our states, cities, and life communities so that we all might reach out for Him, nd Him, and experience the true Treasure that our souls long for. We can all do this because Hes not far away from us. And this is what we are trusting God for this year at CU. We are trusting Him that He loves these precious 33,000 students at CU and that He knows and deeply cares about each and every one of their stories. He loves them so much in fact that He has sacriced everything to be near to them. We are trusting God that He has specically placed each of these students in Boulder for the next 4 years so that He might woo them and that one day they may take just a little step of faith to reach out in response to a God that is winning them over with His kindness. As weve met hundreds of new faces over the past 3 weeks through our Midnight Pancake Madness, Bible studies, and countless barbecues; we are condent of one thing. God is still relentlessly pursuing people. A sophomore at CU named Eric is a great example of this. He lived the CU party lifestyle for a year and was left unsatised and wanting more. Hes been coming to everything weve been doing on campus and wants to know if Jesus is where real Life can be found. We are praying for many more just like Eric to be wanting more. And we pray that they have the courage to reach out and nd God, because Hes not as far away as they may think.

This fall has been uncharted territory for us. We were not sure what it would look like starting a new ministry year with a 9 month old, but the Lord has been so gracious to us. Really, beyond gracious. The CU students adore Tyce & he absolutely loves every second with them. His eyes light up & arms wave in the air as each student walks into our home. That has been our prayer for this new stage for us: that our home would be a safe place for students to come & process life with Christ. But it has become clear that we have quickly out-grown our sweet one bedroom apartment. About a year ago we began praying that God would simply bless us with a home that was 1) close to campus, and 2) large enough to have people over so that we could really use our house to bless others. A few months ago we got accepted into a City of Boulder program that signicantly helps low income families like us purchase homes within the city limits. We are very excited! So after a lot of waiting, tomorrow we will begin taking steps to move forward with the program & potentially buying a home in Boulder. A lot of things will have to come together for us & we really want to trust God for what He has for us- whether this or something else. If you could be praying with us, wed really appreciate it!
