Animal Project

In Science, we are studying about different groups of animals. As part of out unit, your child will be required to make his or her own ANIMAL BOOK. If your childs work contains all of the following information and is neatly done, your child will receive an A.
Criteria for the Project 1. Find TWO pictures of animals in each group: mammals, reptiles, insects, amphibians, fish and birds. 2. These pictures may be copied from an encyclopedia, computer or book. They may also be cut from a magazine. Your child may not draw the animal. 3. Each picture must be on a separate piece of paper. 4. Each picture must be labeled. 5. On each page, your child must WRITE, not type, two facts about each animal. (The animal is coolis not an acceptable answer.) The facts should be written in a complete sentence and all spelling should be correct. 6. The book should be in some type of folder with a front and back cover. The front cover should be decorated with a title and your childs name. 7. The book should be arranged by animal group (all mammals together). 8. All projects are due on Friday, October 4, 2013.
