Swamis Message

My Dear Devotees Animals need your love and care as much as human beings do. Many, many animals are neglected on this planet and suffer a great deal. They are underfed, undernourished, dehydrated, beaten, left in the cold or extreme heat, and deprived of love and affection. This is not right. As I am in every form in creation, I feel the pain that animals feel when they are mistreated. I implore you to see animals as embodiments of the Divine Atma, and treat them with the same respect you have for human beings. I love all beings. Help ever hurt never applies to animals as well as human beings. See Me in every animal you meet. Offer loving pranams to Me in your mind to every animal you meet. Teach others to respect and love the Divine Atma in all animals. This will please Me greatly.

Why Should We Care About Animals?

When we allow our children to see animals suffer, we teach them to ignore all suffering. Some people believe humans were created by God and animals were created solely for their use.
Are animals different from us?
