Inventor Report

Choose and research about a unique or interesting inventor. Answer the following questions on a separate sheet of paper to prepare your report about your inventor and his/her inventions. You may also include any other information that you think is interesting or important. Your final report may be typed or written. The report should be approximately two pages written or one page typed. 1. In an introductory paragraph, tell why you chose this inventor and what his/her invention was. Also, tell when and where this person lived. 2. Tell about the invention. How did the inventor get the idea for this invention? How long did it take to make? Did other people believe it would work? How did the inventor follow (or not follow) the steps of the scientific method. 3. Has this persons invention affected your life? Is it something that you have ever used? How would your life be different if we didnt have this invention? 4. On a piece of poster board, draw a picture or diagram of what the original invention looked like and what that same invention looks like today. Make sure you have a title for your poster (the name of your invention written across the top of your poster). 5. Include a bibliography for your research. List the sources where you found your information (title, author, publisher, and date of publication).
