The soloist can start at any time after the second person has started
and can take breaks of any length between their own motifs.
There is no correct tempo, any person can play at any move to piano

       

tempo and change at any time.

         
The second person may use the sus. pedal once for up to

 
 
seven seconds.
The soloist should play their piano section at the


same piano as the second person.

       

The piece is over when the second person
