Revising 11th Topics

Start revising your 11th concepts from October. You will have 2.5 months to complete it.

Self-Analysis
Mid-December you will need more focus on solving questions, attempting Full Tests, Part Tests, Question Bank and solving previous year JEE Papers. What's more important than solving these questions is to analyze errors and improve on the relatively weaker subjects. This way you can reattempt the respective Chapter Tests and revise the Study Material. You can always refer to the Plancess Video Lectures if you have doubts with any topic. By analysing the errors and brushing up on the topic, you can ensure that the same mistake will not repeat. www.plancessiit.com

Quick Revision for Board Exam

After you attempt innumerous Mock Tests you are easily left with 1 to 1.5 months for the Boards. Revising the theoretical portions again will help you reconsolidate your conceptual knowledge and build up con dence. Always remember the Board preparation is subset to the JEE preparation. The concepts remain the same whether you read an NCERT book or Plancess Study Material. The only dierence is that, JEE, demands your knowledge of applying the concepts and not just the theory behind it.

Repeated Day In & Day Out

Importance of Test Series

Two Ways to Use Test Series:

There is a double edged purpose behind the Test Series. The rst is, the Test Series to help you to KNOW your weakness and IMPROVE upon it. For this purpose the Mock Tests must be taken after every chapter or after learning every topic. It should not be taken lightly for the sake of knowing which questions are asked from a topic, but to know how many questions you can answer precisely. Analyze the questions which you are unable to answer, work on the concepts and improve your knowledge accordingly. The second is, the Mock Tests help you to improve, speed and accuracy. Remember the Test Series are be done one month before the JEE exam.

One Month Before JEE Exam

The last month before the JEE exam is the most crucial period and it is inadvisable to spend time learning something new at this stage. Your focus must remain on attempting and succeeding in the mock exams as though they were the real exams. Without any distraction attend the mock exam at one stretch, on the day of the real exam

The Exam Day

Many students fail to perform on exam day, due to wrong strategies they adopt during the exam. Here is one successful approach from many students who have cracked IIT-JEE.

Attempt the questions and subjects rst that you know well.
Don't attempt Mathematics at the end. It is the most time consuming. Chemistry is the least time-consuming, because you will easily remember and know the answers. It should not take you more than 45 minutes to complete the Chemistry section, so it is always better to end with Chemistry. When you get stuck somewhere, perhaps, in Mathematics, leave the question. Don't waste time over a question that you cannot attempt quickly. Move on. Don't ever depend on the chance to go back to a question. It's often worth simply taking an extra minute to evaluate the question and looking at whether you can solve it. When you can't solve and decide to go on to the next question, then move on for good, and don't try to come back to it later. You'll only waste time. There is absolutely no time to come back to anything unsolved or unattempted.
