Household Vocabulary Unit

First you are going to explain to the kids how they will be learning some pretty basic terms for everyday household items. Next you are going to hand them all 1 sheet of paper You will also have to give them all something to draw with (e.g. crayons or colored pencils) You will also need to supply them with something to write with like a pen or pencil After they have all the supplies they need to complete the task you will give them a list of words with their definitions and their translations They should start out by reading through the list and making sure they know what each word means. Next the students will begin to draw their picture, making sure that it contains every term on the list. They can use the whole page for their drawing The drawing should be very colorful and detailed Make sure that they label each item in the picture with the correct English translation When they are finished they should put their name on the back and turn the picture in to you You should end with a discussion about each item that they drew and the different ways they incorporated them into one scene.
